Welcome to my website!
My name is Carla Spellerberg. My pronouns are she/her/hers. I am a first-year PhD student in the department of Linguistics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Before that, I was a student at Goethe University Frankfurt/Main, where I graduated with an M.A. in linguistics in August 2022 and earned a degree in teacher training for the subjects German, English, and Spanish. My CV can be found here.
My research in linguistics is mostly on different topics at the syntax-semantics interface. Most recently, I have been working on Principle C violations in German and focus-sensitive particles in Bulgarian. You can learn more about my research here.
If you want to learn more about my non-linguistic projects and interests, you can visit the About-section of this website.
